Our Bed and Breakfasts
The San Bernardo B&B is located in an ancient canonical-house, just next to the old church of San Bernardo (built in 700AD). The lower level of the house was once the village school while the upstairs served as the priest's home. Abandoned for many years the house was recently renovated; upstairs is now the home of the Spena family, who will be your hosts, and downstairs, with its own entrance, is the San Bernardo B&B. The Bed and Breakfast has two large double rooms, two bathrooms and a large living room that is often used by groups for yoga classes, meditation, and massage and has an atmosphere that is dedicated to peace and serenity. The front of the house has a large yard and a garden with a panoramic view on the valley below and the Pinerolo flat. There are five donkeys which are available to guests of the B&B. These are well trained and docile; they are fun and practical for trekking in the surrounding hills, especially if you have children. The B&B is a good point for hikes, bike rides (www.marcapinerolese.it) or horseback rides in the surrounding woods. There is an unpaved country road 300 meters from the house that will connect you to the paths of Pra Martino and Villar Perosa (www.valchisone.it), as well as to Crò and Gran Dubbione valleys (www.monatgnedoc.it). Rocca Sbarua (www.roccasbarua.info) which is great fun is also quite close to the B&B.
